Bolivia is a geographically diverse country which some refer to as the Tibet of South America. Walk the streets of La Paz, a city that touches the sky, and explore its most important squares and attractions. Visit the city of Sucre, Bolivia’s most beautiful city and the symbolic heart of the nation. It was here that independence was proclaimed, and while La Paz is the seat of government and treasury, Sucre is recognized in the constitution as the nation’s capital.
Upon arrival at the airport, a transfer to your hotel will be provided.
In the afternoon you will take a city tour where you will visit the administrative capital of Bolivia. Your guide will pick you up from your hotel to start exploring the city of La Paz. Overnight La Paz
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sucre, as part of your Bolivia Tour. After arriving in Sucre, you will have your city tour where you will visit the House of Freedom Historical Museum; Museum of the Treasure, which has a high-level display of Bolivian precious and semi-precious stones; the Convent of San Felipe de Nery or La Recoleta viewpoint; the Asur Textile Museum; the facades of the churches of San Lazaro and Santo Domingo; the main historical monuments; and Bolivar Park.
Note: San Felipe de Nery is only available in the afternoons. Morning tours will visit La Recoleta viewpoint.

Passengers will be able to see the miners performing their job in rudimentary form and similar conditions as those of the Spanish Colony. After this tour, you will be transferred to Uyuni.
In the morning after breakfast, you will start the tour by visiting the train cemetery (old locomotives that were used as transport of minerals), then you will continue towards the village of Colchani, where you can observe the processing of the salt (drying, grinding, and bagging salt). You will also have the opportunity to purchase crafts made out of salt.
After this activity, you will visit the famous Salar of Uyuni. This is the world’s largest salt flat with 10,582 square kilometers (113,903 square ft). It is located in the Daniel Campos Province in Potosí (Southwest of Bolivia) at an altitude of 3,656 meters (11,994 ft) above sea level. The Salar was formed as a result of transformations between several prehistoric lakes. It is covered by a few meters of salt crust, which has an extraordinary flatness with average elevation variations within one meter over the entire area of the Salar.
In the rainy season (December to March) all the salt is covered with a layer of water that provides a surreal visual experience. It looks like a Natural Mirror which reflects the sky. You will have lunch (if you choose it to be included), then we will continue our visit to Incahuasi Island (a rocky island in the middle of the salar where we will observe giant cacti, which are more than 100 years old). Then you will see the sunset which is a spectacular experience over the salt flats.
Return to your hotel.

You will continue to the Ollagüe Volcanos viewpoint, where you can witness its activity and a dramatic desert landscape. Then, we arrive at the Joyas Andinas or Andean Jewels which are small lagoons that truly demonstrate biodiversity. Time for lunch (if you choose it to be included), then you will visit the famous Stone Tree. In this silent witness of Earth’s erosion, you will pass through the Siloli Desert which is a surreal flatland without vegetation that constitutes the entry point to the Eduardo Abaroa Reserve.
You will continue towards the Red Lagoon, an amazing example of a diverse ecosystem in a desolated region.
