The Galapagos National Park requires all foreign visitors over of 12 years old to pay an entrance fee of USD 100; anyone under 12 pays USD 50. Additionally, there is a USD 20 transit control card required to travel to the Galapagos. This card can be acquired at either one of the airports in Guayaquil or Quito.

All lodges in the Amazon have some kind of electrical source (Solar Panels or Generators), this doesn’t mean you will have electricity in your cabin with outlets. Lodges will usually have an electrical common area where you can charge your electric devices at a certain schedule during the day.
