Gulliver Expeditions, one of the most important tourism operators in Ecuador, is aware of the significance of promoting art, and as such it decided to exhibit a new photo gallery. Along with the support of the tourism department of La Mariscal administration zone in Quito, the gallery was founded in April 2017. The objective of the gallery is to show the diversity of the country and inspire visitors and residents to explore Ecuador, enjoy outdoor activities while exposing the professional work of photographers, and provide adequate use to public spaces through this kind of walkway.
The photo gallery, presented in one of Quito’s most important squares, the Plaza Foch, is named “Ecuador Image Gallery.” The gallery illustrates the experiences and impressions of different photographers through a professional lens, with the aim of capturing the incredible tourist destinations that Ecuador has to offer.
The gallery has contributed in a very positive way, according to businesses and people who walk through the square. The current exposition of Galapagos will be open to public for the next 8 weeks. As part of this exposition, the photographers Daniel Mideros, Renato Pavón, Pedro Putscher and Diego Bermeo will have the chance to promote their photos. The outgoing exhibition was presented by Sebastian Rodriguez; Mrs. Maria Gabriela Vazquez, administrator of the tourism department of La Mariscal, will present Sebastian with a recognition for his work.0
