Our Commitment to Sustainable Tourism
At Gulliver Expeditions, we firmly believe that tourism can and should be a positive force for
the planet. That is why we are actively pursuing Travelife environmental certification, one of
the most internationally recognized certifications in sustainable tourism.
Gulliver Expeditions’ Commitment to Sustainability
At Gulliver Expeditions, sustainability is a cornerstone that is reflected in every one of our
processes, decisions, and operations. We are firmly committed to fostering a responsible
corporate culture that respects the natural environment, local communities, and the heritage
of the destinations where we operate.
The entire Gulliver Expeditions team has actively embraced this commitment to sustainability.
We have completed the sustainable tourism training program offered by Travelife, and every
employee in operations, sales, and accounting has earned their respective certification.
We are fully engaged in this process of continuous improvement, aware that a team properly
trained in sustainability not only strengthens our operational efficiency but also allows us to
convey these values to our clients and suppliers. This is one of our main objectives: to generate
a positive impact throughout the entire tourism value chain.
What is Travelife?
Travelife is an international system that promotes responsible practices in tourism
companies by evaluating environmental, social, and economic criteria. Its comprehensive
approach motivates us to continuously improve in key areas such as resource management,
relationships with local communities, respect for culture, and protection of the natural
environment.
What are we doing?
We are currently implementing a series of strategic actions to meet Travelife’s rigorous standards, including:
- Evaluating and improving our internal operations to reduce our environmental impact.
- Providing ongoing training for our team in sustainable best practices.
- Actively collaborating with suppliers and communities to promote responsible tourism
development. - Transparently monitoring and reporting on our sustainable actions.
This process not only seeks to obtain certification, but also to transform the way we work,
travel, and connect with the world.
Our goal: to be part of the shift towards more conscious tourism that benefits both
our travelers and future generations.
Our Sustainable Seal: also known as our Sustainable Seal or Eco-label, visually represents
Gulliver Expeditions’ strong commitment to responsible and sustainable travel. All products
and packages marked with this symbol have been carefully designed, analyzed, and
approved according to strict sustainability standards. Choosing these options means
supporting experiences that protect the environment, empower local communities, and
