The mountain area known as the Central Andes in Bolivia is home to the Chearoco volcano. With an elevation of 6,120 metres (20,078 feet), it is one of many mountains in the Andes that surpass the 6,000-meter mark (19,685 feet).
This programme, which is always looking to try something new, makes climbing in Bolivia easy and fun. You can get to the peak either from the east or the west. The beauty of the peak increases as you get closer to the top. True mountaineers won’t want to miss out on this spectacular ascent.
Departure from the city of La Paz by private transportation to the town of Kellhuani at approximately 4,650 meters (15,255 ft). The trek begins for about 3 to 4 hours to La Rinconada base camp at 4,950 meters (16,240 ft). You will be assisted with the help of animal transportation with mules. Camping night.
On this day you will ascend to the high fields of Credada Rock at 5,210 meters (17,093 ft). You will hike for approximately 4 to 5 hours with the help of high-altitude porters. Camping night.
Ascent from high camp to the summit of Nevado Chearoco at 6,127 meters (20,101 ft). Descent to high camp and base camp. Camping night.
Descent from base camp to the population of Kellhuani and to meet the transportation for the return to the city of La Paz, arrival at your hotel, and end of services.
